Lately we have been paying a lot of attention to the convent. After all, the convent will be the eye catcher of our new campus and the degree programmes of Hotel, Facility and Tourism are going to start there as early as this September. Nevertheless, the campus is more than just the convent. In the past few months, hard work has been put into the interior plan for the current main building. The name of this building will be changed to Frontier building, and its interior is about to undergo a complete metamorphosis. Watch the video impression!

The new campus of NHTV Breda – as from 1 September Breda University of Applied Sciences – is beginning to take more definite shape. Maybe you saw some blue e-cars on or around the NHTV site already. Employees of NHTV can use these for business trips, for example. Breda Elektrisch is a joint project of NHTV, Avans and the municipality of Breda. The project fits perfectly into the sustainable objectives that we have linked to our new campus. The project has been running for three weeks now and the electric vehicles are already being used extensively. Nico van Os of the Executive Board of NHTV wrote a column about it.

Even during these bar cold days the renovation work in the convent is still going on! That is not always easy for the hard workers and that is why we treated them to a delicious hot cup of pea soup this week. For NHTV, it is very important that we keep on track and we are very grateful that the construction workers keep working on despite the cold. Keep up the good work!
